Becoming an IAM Organizational Leader
These courses are designed for those who hold leadership positions in business or service organizations, for consultants to organizations, and for those in organizations seeking to improve their performance. The wisdom and power of the heart can be applied to spectacular success in business. Puran has worked in business for 40+ years, in the industries of insurance, banking, financial services, management consulting, waste management, alternative energy, robotics and computer design. In the last 30 years, he has held the position of either President, Vice President or Partner of the firm where he was employed. Puran has taught the principles of Heart-Centered Organization at Citibank, Badger Corporation, EG&G, and Massachusetts Financial Services. The books he co-authored with his wife Susanna have specific descriptions of heart practices in business. The use of the heart in business is the new frontier, offering enormous advantages to every level of the organization. Employees want more than a salary and benefits; they want to know their work contributes to an ideal and also offers a personal growth experience. Customers want their vendors to relate to them with respect and courtesy. Management knows that a corporate culture that promotes excellence, honesty and creativity is their greatest asset. Investors are looking for companies that have loyal customer relationships. All of this is a function of heart. For more information on the heart in leadership, see The Four Kinds of Leaders B1 Core ManagementBy learning Heart Rhythm Meditation, you can effectively self-regulate your blood pressure, heart rate, heart arrhythmia, disease tolerance, digestion and sleep pattern. With this control, you can handle more stress, without physical or emotional stress symptoms.
This seminar is appropriate for any business person. It provides essential skills for meeting business challenges with creativity and courage. No previous Meditation experience is necessary, nor assumed. Included in the price of the seminar is a Heart Rate Variability (HRV) monitor that connects to a PC or Mac computer for monitoring coherence, the meditative state that is empowering and regenerative. Each participant will use their own HRV monitor during the course to learn the method using biofeedback. In addition, instruments will be used to measure one's progress in reducing stress reactions, measuring skin temperature and iris reaction time. It should be noted that low Heart Rate variabilty (HRV) is the most accurate predictive indicator of heart attacks, and Heart Rhythm Meditation is the best method known for increasing HRV. Tuition for this two-day course, including the HRV instrument, is $1500 per person. B2 Core StrategyShould your organization centralize or decentralize, acquire or divest, innovate or consolidate? Should you promote, support, trust or validate someone? Where is the opening that the current situations are leading you to? How do you take a step forward without going in circles? Do you realize that in all the most important decisions you've made, you haven't had enough information to decide rationally? This course presents the science of decision making. We present a comprehensive methodology for considering whether a goal or direction is right for you at this time: the context, level of commitment, and availability of essential resources can all be assessed through accurate, non-rational means. ![]() The course begins with the experience of the four stages of development of a new initiative, from initial vision to sustainable organizational structures. To advance an opportunity along this progression, the organization must be able to operate the four types of forces that create manifestation. These forces can be experientially sensed and, when deficient, can be strengthened in yourself and throughout your organization. Then the four different methods of developing and using heart-knowing will be taught and practiced. Enlightened leaders rely upon the signals of intuition to augment their rational decision process. These inner signals can become very reliable, allowing rapid decisions with confidence, even in complex situations.
The course includes time for practice and application to the immediate business issues facing you now. The course runs four days; the tuition is $4000 per person. Course B1 is a prerequisite. B3 Core MasteryLeadership requires self-mastery; people will not follow a person who is not in control of him/her self. A leader must be able to model the values and performance expected in subordinates and co-workers to lead by example with integrity. A leader who can demonstrate extraordinary personal skill will inspire confidence and excellence, and be able to attract and hold the most highly-qualified professionals. This can be done by building a core mastery that allows you to:
Tuition for the five-day seminar is $5000 per person. Course B1 is a prerequisite. B5 Core Work GroupsA Core Work Group incorporates people of different talents and approaches, each placed in a position that maximizes both their contribution and their growth as professionals. Construction of such groups uses the IAM model of the types of people and their natural qualities. A person's type is assessed by non-verbal, experiential means that does not rely upon self-assessment. Identifying each person's type of core greatness gives the team an admiration for each member and trust in their speciality, resulting in greater harmony and efectiveness. Core Work Groups presents a model and methodology that is essential for Human Resource Development, incorporating the innate, core qualities of a person, the role they are being asked to perform, and the undeveloped, emerging qualities that person is seeking for their personal fulfillment. Tuition for the four-day seminar is $4000 per person. Course B1 is a prerequisite. Course B1 can be incorporated as a fifth day for an additional $1000 pp. | ||
